The Hebron Marching Band has been an award-winning band since its inception in 1999, and this year, they are truly honored and thrilled to be crowned 2021 State UIL 6A Marching Band Champion and BOA San Antonio Super Regional Champion, winning caption awards for Outstanding Music Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance, and Outstanding General Effect. They captured the hearts of judges and crowds alike in the state of Texas with their 2021 production entitled “PENstriped”, known for its melodic beauty and intense musical and physical demand. PENstriped features the music of Ottorino Respighi, Thomas Bergersen, James Newton Howard, Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Simon, Frank Ticheli, Michael Martin, Dave Gylde, and Kevin Ronan. The Hebron Band is led by directors, Andy Sealy, Travis Pruitt, Brock Alsaffar, Zach Houston, Justin Sullivan, Adam Davis, and Sarah Hinderliter. Drum Majors are Andie San Luis, Carolin Yoo, Megan Ramos, Suhani Rana, and Jada Williams.
The Hebron Marching Band has been afforded the “invitation only” opportunity to perform on January 1, 2022, as a part of the Tournament of Roses’ Parade in Pasadena! They will proudly represent the Lewisville Independent School District, the Hebron High School Community, the surrounding communities of Lewisville, Carrollton, Frisco, Plano, The Colony, DFW region, and the great State of Texas at the Tournament of Roses' Parade. They are one of only 6 Dallas Bands invited to the Tournament of Roses’ Rose Parade since 1970. The Tournament of Roses’ Parade coincides with the Rose Bowl Game, known as the “Granddaddy of them all” ™, and the parade attracts 44 million viewers nationally, 28+ million viewers internationally and 700,00 estimated viewers in the live audience.
The band will travel to this global event in Pasadena, CA with 300+ marching students, 60+ Chaperones and Staff, 4 Semi Trailers of equipment, props, instruments, and luggage. The students will be safely chartered to their destination in California where they will perform with bands from around the world, perform in marching showcases, and march the famous 5 1/2 mile stretch down Colorado Blvd. on New Year’s Day. For many students, this is the first time on an airplane and a first chance at witnessing the power of their potential and their dreams through the lens of a global music educational experience.
We want to help this remarkable band of student leaders to make their way to this global event culminating at the historically “bucket-list experience” parade.

Our emphasis is on education; equitable and quality public education for all. Education is the great equalizer. Education is the single greatest contributor to social and economic mobility and a Hebron education starts students on that path. The Hebron Band program supports all students no matter their economic or social status. It is the gateway to bright and rewarding futures. The quality of their musicianship is only outshined by the quality of the education and life skills they attain at Hebron High School.”
