How to get started volunteering in 3 easy steps
Getting the 350+ students in the Hebron High School Marching Band on the field and marching is a huge job that requires the help of an army of volunteers. The support of these family members and friends is what provides countless things from uniform fittings, to props for the show, to the water they drink during performances. Each family is asked to volunteer at least three times each season. We have a wide variety of jobs available to accommodate your schedules and strengths.
Before you start searching the volunteer site for the right job for you, there are 3 simple steps that must be completed by everyone, every year.
STEP 1- Get Your District Required Background Check
The school district requires that everyone must be background checked in order to do any volunteer jobs interacting with the band students. It is a simple process and shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes. Go to lewisvilleisd.voly.org or click the button below to fill out your form.

STEP 2 - Fill Out the "Getting to Know You" Volunteer Questionnaire
We want you to serve in ways that bring you joy and fulfillment, so we need to get to know you better so we can guide you towards volunteer opportunities that fit your skills and interests. STEP 3 - Send us your apprroval
Once you have received your background check approval email from the school district, there's one final step to complete to ensure we have your approval on record. Please forward your confirmation email to voly@hebronband.org and include:
The name you used for the background check,
Your preferred name (for example, Nichole instead of Nikki)
